Accused Joughin Killer to Face Trial in January

(Wauseon, OH) A Delta man won't face trial in the death of an Evergreen graduate until mid-January.

A Fulton County judge Tuesday reset the trial date for 57-year old James Worley, who's accused of last summer's kidnapping and killing of 20-year old Sierra Joughin as she was riding her bike home.

Worley will face trial January 16, nearly 18 months after the University of Toledo student's death. Worley could get the death penalty if convicted.

Worley was not present during the court hearing where his defense attorneys filed more than 50 pretrial motions.
