Refugee Group Responds To New Travel Ban

(Toledo, OH) A Toledo refugee resettlement group continues to oppose President Trump's immigration policies. U.S. Together leaders say the president's new travel ban is an improvement over the original order that was rejected by the courts.

At issue is concern that the halt on refugees from six Muslim-majority countries could be extended beyond the current 120-day limit.

Few details are available, but it appears there was an immigration-related raid at a Williams County dairy over the weekend. U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcements agents detained seven people at Bridgewater Dairy Sunday afternoon near Montpelier. Williams County sheriff's deputies also were present during the event. There's no word on where ICE agents took those who were detained.
