Ohio Lawmaker Wants Presidential Candidates To Release Taxes To Get On State Ballot

COLUMBUS, Ohio - There would be a change in the ballot rules for Ohio is one state lawmaker gets her way.

Every candidate for president or vice president would be required to release federal income tax returns, if State Rep Kathleen Clyde's idea makes it to law. Clyde is seeking a co-sponsor for a bill that would require the tax information prior to a candidate being on the ballot in Ohio. Clyde's bill title would be, "Tax Returns Uniformly Made Public", which would clear the way to name it the TRUMP bill. Clyde points out four other states have similar bills being considered.
