COLUMBUS, Ohio - Lieutenant Governor Mary Taylor officially threw her hat into the ring Thursday to be Ohio's next governor.
Taylor has filed paperwork to make her campaign for governor official. Taking that action also allows Taylor to begin meeting with Ohio grassroots civic leaders and raising money. The papers also name a treasurer for her campaign. Her team has launched a new website, marytaylorforgovernor.com. In a prepared statement, Taylor says a formal announcement is coming later this year, and they did not say when.
