(Toledo, OH) Toledo police are ramping up their fight against accidental gun violence.
Toledo police officers and city officials will give away free gun locks tonight at a gun safety program at the Believe Center in the Old South End. The city launched the awareness campaign after the accidental shooting death of two-year-old Journi Johnson last year.
This is the fourth gun-related community meeting in the past few weeks. Education programs for kids and adults are scheduled to begin at 5:30 and run until 7 p.m.
