(Archbold, OH) One Northwest Ohio school district may be the first in the region to offer Wi-Fi on its school buses.
Archbold school officials believe wi-fi on buses would give students more opportunities to complete their school work. The superintendent sees the school bus as an extension of the classroom, allowing students to use their digital devices to finish work on the bus ride home or a long trip to a sporting event.
Archbold educators also believe the buses will be quieter if kids are busy doing their homework. The plan is to install wi-fi as early as next month, but that's dependent on the arrival of the necessary equipment.
