(Wauseon, OH) A seven-year-old Wauseon girl is dead after coming down with the flu. Fulton County health officials say the Wauseon Primary School first grader died Tuesday, just days after her diagnosis.
School district officials brought counselors to the school to help students deal with their grief and ask questions.
Strict cleaning protocols are underway at the school to help prevent spread of the illness. Parents are being asked to get their kids to a doctor if they begin suffering from a fever and cough.
