TOLEDO, Ohio - Toledo City Council voted Tuesday to ban conversion therapy in the city.
WTOL 11 reports the vote bans the widely-discredited practice that attempts to change a person's sexual orientation. The measure, approved by a unanimous 12-0 vote, makes the practice a fourth-degree misdemeanor. It also lays out protections for sexual orientation or gender identity.
