PERRSYBURG, Ohio - Perrysburg residents are about to pay more for water.
WTOL 11 reports the rate hike was approved Wednesday by Perrysburg City Council. The eight-and-a-half percent rate hike goes into effect on April 1 and will be in place for the next four years. A higher water and sewer tap fee was also approved. Those will be raised three percent for the next three years.
Council began considering the hike back in January, citing Toledo for charging more for water.
