Cleveland To Host 2019 MLB All-Star Game

CLEVELAND, Ohio - The Mid-Summer Classic is returning to Cleveland.

Cleveland.com reports that Cleveland will host the 2019 MLB All-Star Game. The Indians will host the game for the sixth time in franchise history and the first time since 1997. It would also break a four-year hosting streak for the National League. The 2017 All-Star Game will take place in Miami and the 2018 game is slated for Washington. The last American League club to host the game were the Minnesota Twins in 2014.

The team has called a Friday morning press conference where an official announcement is expected.
