WASHINGTON D.C. - One Ohio Senator is calling on President Trump to stand behind sending more money back to local governments.
Senator Sherrod Brown says he's hopeful Congress will take action on replacing and repairing roads, bridges and utilities.
"We know the condition of Columbus and Cleveland and smaller cities like Mansfield and Zanesville. We know the conditions of their city streets and part of the reason for that is that state government has cut funds to local communities," Brown says.
Brown, a Democrat, also asserts President Trump picks fights with people for no clear reason.
