A Florida man is set to be the first person sentenced in connection with the Jan. 6th riot at the U.S. Capitol.
38-year-old Paul Allard Hodgkins is due in court for sentencing on Monday, after pleading guilty last month to one felony count of obstructing an official proceeding. Prosecutors are seeking an 18-month prison sentence.
Hodgkins was one of several people who entered the Senate chamber during the riot. He can be seen carrying a Trump flag and wearing ski goggles around his neck while posing for a selfie.
More than 500 total arrests have been made in connection with the Jan. 6th riot.
