Eddie Money, a prolific singer/songwriter, whose music provided the soundtrack to a large part of the 1980s, died this morning at age 70. He revealed a recent diagnosis of Stage 4 esophageal cancer recently. A statement from his family reads, "The Money Family regrets to announce that Eddie passed away peacefully early this morning. It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to our loving husband and father. We cannot imagine our world without him. We are grateful that he will live on forever through his music." We spoke with Eddie Money last year on The Scott Sands Show about his reality television series, Easy Money, on the AXS TV network -- click here to listen on our free iHeartRadio app.
