Rain in Brooklyn, MI delayed the start of yesterday's scheduled NASCAR Monster Energy Cup Series race at the Michigan International Speedway. The green flag will now drop for the FireKeepers Casino 400 this afternoon at 5:00pm. Steve Post of the Motor Racing Network joined The Scott Sands Show today for a preview of the race, which features Joey Logano and Aric Almirola on the starting row and Kevin Harvick in third position.
The two mile long oval at MIS, with 18-degree banking, makes it one of the fastest tracks on the circuit and should lead to plenty of green flag racing as drivers toy around with the new rules package.
