If you've been downtown in the past week, you may have seen an intriguing billboard near the corner of North Michigan and Washington advertising "Toledo's #1 Bachelor Seeking Woman 18-35." It features an anonymous white-gloved hand clutching a single rose above an equally anonymous email contact (see picture below). So, what's the story behind the billboard?

It turns out "Toledo's #1 Bachelor" is a single, never-been-married guy in his 30s who claims to own a local business. And, he says he's serious about meeting the woman of his dreams in this unconventional manner after failed attempts on Tinder, Match, Bumble, and through dating services. He tells us the billboard has generated more than 200 responses in the past week, many of which are serious inquiries from interested women.
