ToleGO, the first public bike share program in Toledo, launches today! There will be 100 bikes at 17 hubs within the city of Toledo, available for use 24 hours a day. Riders can use the bikes at a rate of $3 per 30-minutes; monthly and annual membership rates are also available. The system is designed to enhance connectivity and serve as a first-mile, last-mile transportation solution. To find out more about the program, visit the website here.
Scott gave one of the new bikes a preview ride this morning ... and things did not go well. Unfortunately, it was all captured on video. Watch until the end.
The program was made possible by support from Mercy Health, Owens Corning, ProMedica, Toledo Refining Company, and a TMACOG grant.
