Saturday night, I had the honor to see my friends in Bon Jovi FINALLY inducted to the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame as part of the Class of 2018. I was thrilled to see Jon & Richie Sambora perform together again, for the first time since 2013; yet, couldn't help but feel this might be the last time they take the same stage. And, as a fan, that's extremely disappointing.
Jon and his manager invited me to hang out late at the After Party where I awkwardly chatted up Jerry Cantrell of Alice in Chains, Steven Van Zandt, Paul Schaeffer, Brandon Flowers of The Killers, and others -- including the out of my league gorgeous Carrie Keagan. You may recognize Carrie from TV appearances on E!, Bravo, VH1, and Fox News Channel's "Red Eye." She was host for the Hall of Fame red carpet this year; so, I talked her into letting me call her during my show today ... during which she banished me to the friend zone!
Carrie's great. Follow her on Twitter and Instagram and click here to buy her book Everybody Curses, I Swear! Uncensored Tales From The Hollywood Trenches on Amazon. Listen to Carrie Keagan on my show today with iHeartRadio below.
Watch the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame 2018 Induction Ceremony on HBO Saturday, May 5.
“Everything in entertainment, no matter if it’s related to television, music, movies, or what have you, is a bit of a circle jerk. Everybody’s JO’ing each other for something. I’m sure you’ve heard the expression that it’s more business than show, but in reality it’s more about show me your business. In politics, one hand washes the other, but in entertainment it’s more of a rub’n’tug.” -Carrie Keagan from Everybody Curses, I Swear!
