Tuesday former VP Joe Biden announced his pick for a running mate for this year's campaign for the presidency, Senator Kamala Harris (D-CA). The pick is good news for those who wanted to see a woman on the ticket, or a person of color as Harris is being touted as the first African-American to be chosen by a major party to be VP. Harris' mother if from India, her father Jamaican, and she was born in Oakland, CA so there are those on the Right who belittle the African-American tag. Democrats meanwhile will have to deal with her past as a prosecutor with a record of being tough on crime in California and putting a large number of African-Americans in jail.
Trump for his part labeled her "nasty" and accused her of being very disrespectful to Biden during the debates, this was while referring to VP Biden as "sleepy Joe". Did the pick of Harris change your mind about who you would vote for this year?
