Four council seats need to be filled temporarily while the councilpersons who held them fight their Federal charges of bribery and extortion. This young man wants to fill the District 4 seat formerly held by Yvonne Harper. His name is Corey McVay, he's a life long Toledoan with an impressive resume and letter of intent which he's sent to Judge Puffenberger. Puffenberger under state law will select the four temporary replacements for council.
Corey is 36, a single father, and a homeowner in Toledo. He graduated Rogers HS as Salutatorian with a 4.2 GPA. He was the youngest member of the Black Data Processing Associates' Computer Team and subscribes to the Servant-Leadership philosophy which believes the main goal of any leader is to serve.
