The Toledo Zoo will reopen this Thursday June 12 but to members only. Some in the community are wondering why the zoo isn't opening to Lucas County residents who pay for the zoo through their property taxes. There will be some restrictions even on members but why couldn't those some measures be put in place while opening to the people who pay for the zoo on a regular basis. Before shutting down because of the coronavirus crisis the Toledo Zoo regularly let county residents in for free on Monday before Noon.
