Even before the New Hampshire primary was over candidate Joe Biden had left the state and headed for South Carolina and Nevada. Biden had a terrible showing in the first primary of the 2020 campaign, ending up in 5th place behind Sanders, Buttigieg, Klobuchar, and Warren. Two other candidates dropped from the race last night, Andrew Yang and Michael Bennet. Biden is using the narrative that the early caucus and primary are not a representation of the electorate because it was not diverse enough. Biden says the traditional support from the African-American community and from Hispanics will fall on his side and that Super Tuesday primaries will tell the real story of his campaign.
