Brad McDonald and Rocky Conley are opening the Federal Aerospace Institute this spring/summer at Gene Kranz Toledo Express Airport. The institute will teach airframe and powerplant mechanics for jobs in the burgeoning aerospace industry. More than half the currently employed technicians are over the age of 50 and nearing retirement. The commercial aviation fleet is expected to double over the next 15 years creating thousands of job opportunities.
Attending the FAI will allow you obtain your FAA certification and begin working in the industry.
