Jay Neilsen is in to talk about universal Health Care and how we can make universal Health Care work for everybody. For the first time, More Doctors are employed than self employees according to the AMA. In 2018 48.4% of doctors involved in patient care were employed, while 45.9% were self-employed.
According to the latest survey, the number of Self Employed Dr.’s has declined by 7% since 2012. But the shift to employment has not occurred as rapidly as had been anticipated, said the AMA.
