The last time Donald Trump was in Toledo is was as a candidate for President. Tonight at 7p in the Huntington Center he will hold his first reelection campaign rally of 2020 in front of an adoring crowd. Lucas county didn't go for Trump in the 2016 election but the people coming to see him tonight aren't just from this area. I showed up early this morning on my way in to the station and spoke with a few of the people who are first in line.
Christina Fitchett-Hickson of Fllint, MI has been waiting to see the President since yesterday afternoon and she is fired up. Fitchett-Hickson is a candidate for Michigan's 5th District in Congress and came down to Toledo to show her support for the President's policies.
