The TARTA board of directors took steps yesterday which approved the first of two resolutions necessary to place a measure on the March election ballot. The board still has plans for a November question to decide if funding should change from levy dollars to sales tax. This levy is a renewal meaning that the tax paid by individual property owners would not change. It is scheduled to end at the end of 2020 and the board hopes if it passes there will be no loss in funding should the November sales tax issue not get passed by voters.
