The impeachment process took another step yesterday when a resolution was released that lays out how the next few steps will play out. According to the USA Today "The resolution from Rules Committee Chairman Jim McGovern, D-Mass., could be voted on as early as Thursday. It makes clear that information gathered by the six committees that have been conducting oversight into Trump would funnel to the House Judiciary Committee – the panel that has traditionally been charged with impeachment.
This will be the first time there will be a vote taken on this matter after weeks of hearings and testimony. Depending on which side of the aisle you believe this is either a necessity because of Trump's misdeeds or a witch hunt to remove President Trump from office before the 2020 election.
