Friday night the Zepf Center held it's annual Don't Skirt The Issue fundraiser at The Pinnacle in Maumee. This year funds raised were earmarked for Safety Net, a shelter for at risk teens, runaways, and homeless children between the ages of 12-17.
Fred LeFebvre of 1370 WSPP acted as host for the evening and auctioneer for items including a week in France and a chance to co-host the Morning News show with Fred. The night's major sponsor was Huntington Bank with other corporate sponsors including J. Foster Jewelers, Eastman Smith, Walker Funeral Home and many others.
A 15 person van for transporting the clients to and from school and appointments is one of the uses for funds raised.
