Today is school Climate Strike day and tens of thousands of students here in the U.S. and across the globe are expected to skip classes and walk in marches in many cities including Los Angeles, San Francisco, and New York. The move is brought on by a 16 year old girl from Sweden named Greta Thunberg who recently spoke in front of the UN and the World Economic Forum. Greta has been leading a Fridays For Change movement in which students skip school on Fridays to protest or raise awareness for topics they feel need attention from lawmakers.
