President Trump, with First Lady Melania at his side, announced yesterday a plan to ban all flavored e-cigarettes as a public health risk. The President and other health professionals cite the increased number of teens using e-cigs and especially the recent rash of health problems that have cropped up around their use. The FDA will come up with a plan to remove flavored e-cig pods and patches from the market while leaving tobacco based products alone for now. The FDA may include mint and menthol however which manufacturers don't consider flavors.
Some states have already moved to remove candy and sweet flavors from the market because of the claim they attract children and pre teens. Do you believe this is a federal issue or is this an issue that states should deal with this individually.
