Hundreds of thousands of people along the East Coast are prepping for the damage Hurricane Dorian may unleash once it makes landfall sometime in the next 48 hours. At one time a CAT 5 the storm has stalled over the Bahamas and is devastating the island nation. As of Tuesday morning it is now a CAT 4 and expected to move toward the US coast slowly causing storm surges and torrential rains as it moves Northward.
Despite the many warnings some residents have decided to ride the storm out putting not only themselves but first responders in danger. September is National Preparedness Month so the question is are you ready for an emergency? It could be a fire, tornado, flooding, even a hurricane. Do you have the supplies and necessary information to survive a few days without public services?
