Despite both Denmark and Greenland saying the island is not for sale President Trump on Sunday confirmed that his administration is looking at buying the world's largest island. Denmark is responsible to island and actually contributes about two-thirds of the island's budget. Much of the country is covered in ice and lies above the Arctic Circle. The population of 56,000 plus mostly lives along the coast and relies on fishing for a living. The only strategic advantage would be the island's proximity to Russia and the North Pole.
