It was announced that ProMedica will help pay for renovations at the aging Seagate Centre in downtown Toledo in return for naming rights on the building. A number of people on social media have already come out against the deal claiming that ProMedica has too much of a footprint in downtown already. The Centre needs renovation which will include a one thousand seat ballroom so that it can attract larger conventions and county commissioners have long talked about how to fund it. The ProMedica deal would be $5 million toward the total cost.
Are you in favor of this deal or do you think ProMedica has too much influence in the city? TUESDAY 60 MINUTE POLL
