The most a lot of people now about the DeLorean is that it was the care used by Doc Brown in Back To The Future and the sequels. But the back story of its' designer and builder, John DeLorean, is fascinating. DeLorean was the golden child of the auto industry at one time. While at Pontiac DeLorean designed the GTO which many consider the first muscle car. He went on to introduce the Chevy Vega and Nova.
After numerous clashes with his more conservative bosses at GM DeLorean left to start his own car company and created the DeLorean. What happens after that is the stuff of movies, and this movie has it all.
