Deepfake videos are as real as you want to believe them to be.

Deepfake videos are becoming a worry for security experts and United States election officials. It's becoming increasingly easier for anyone with a few computer skills to put together a video using someone else's face and voice pattern in a way that would fool a large number of people. Replacing the facial part of the video can be done in a matter of minutes for anyone with the proper program and a few minutes to play around, adding the voice is a little more difficult but not impossible.

The examples in these two videos will give you an idea of what these deepfake videos can look like and in some cases you would never know it wasn't fake unless it obviously done for a joke like putting a man's face on a woman's body.

Have you been fooled yet? Would you know a deepfake video if you saw one?
