Experts are no suggesting that chldren, as young as 18 months, should avoid looking at screens computer, phone, and otherwise. Even before the age of 18 they are suggesting that time in front of any type of screen be monitored closely and suggest only a few hours a day for most ages. With kids using laptops in school, at home, in the car, and even outside it's becoming apparent children are spending more than the recommended amount of time already.
