The city of Toledo has a budget surplus this year of over $8 milllion and council people are having a tough time deciding how to spend your tax dollars. The split comes from whether or not funds should be saved for an economic turndown or split between roads and savings. Other elected officials want the money split evenly among the six council districts, while Sandy Spang says save it all for a rainy day.
