Wreaths Across America 2018 Honors Fallen Vets

Thank you to the hundreds of listeners who came out to Toledo Memorial Park on Saturday morning to take part in the nationwide Wreaths Across America program. This year because of your efforts we placed over 5,000 wreaths on the final resting place of our fallen veterans. This is the largest number of wreaths for the Toledo Wreaths Across America chapter. Without your help it couldn't be done.

President Trump participated in the Arlington Cemetary wreath laying while chapter all over the United States, overseas, and at sea did the same.

Local veteran motorcycle clubs, families, The Sea Cadets, and veterans of all ages took party this year following a moving ceremony at the Veterans Memorial located in the park.

I want to personally thank you for not only donating so that we were able to purchase that large number of wreaths but also for coming out and volunteering to place them. I can only hope it meant as much to you as it did to me. I hope you will return next year and bring your friends and family.  Fred LeFebvre
