Rumor, a German Shepherd with local ties took Best of Show last night at the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show. This was Rumor's second trip to New York where last year she won Best of Breed, and Best of Group. Rumor is co-bred and co-owned by Pamela McElheney of Lockenhaus German Shephers of Springfield Township and Kent Boyles of Edgerton, WS. Rumor was named after an Adele song, "Rumor Has It" so maybe it was fitting that the dog won after Adele herself took home five Grammys Sunday night. Rumor will take some time off according to Boyles before becoming a mother.
