Border Patrol Checks Raising Questions in NW Ohio

(Sandusky, OH)  A long standing border patrol practice is raising some questions in northwest Ohio.

US Border Patrol agents conducted multiple security checks on Greyhound buses in Sandusky earlier this month.

CBP officials say that these searches are routine practice.

Passengers on the buses said that the practice seemed unfair as the only people who were questioned by CBP were of Hispanic and Asian descent.

The Border Patrol searches have not yet extended to Toledo area city buses but similar search methods have been used on Amtrak trains passing through the Toledo station.
