(Toledo, OH) Toledo city leaders want to make leaf pickup more efficient.
City officials are hoping that changes in leaf pickup will give Toledoans more transparency in when they will see crews on their streets and make the pickup more efficient.
Toledo Streets, Bridges, and Harbor officials say that are also asking Toledo City Council for almost 400-thousand dollars to buy new equipment to expedite leaf pickup.
The new pickup procedures are expected to start in Fall 2019. Leaf collection maps are expected to be released to the public in late October.
