Sen. Portman defends Kavanaugh Supreme Court bid

(Cincinnati, OH) Senator Rob Portman is defending the nomination of brett kavanaugh to the supreme court.

On NBC's "Meet the Press," Ohio's Republican senator says the Democrats' request for more documents on Kavanaugh is like a "fishing expedition into millions of documents."

Portman says only documents such as those related to his position as associate counsel to former President George W. Bush are relevant.  Portman claims releasing millions of documents that Kavanaugh reviewed during his time in the Bush administration is not relevant and do not necessarily reflect his opinions and views.
