Death Penalty Murder Trial Delayed by Judge

(Fremont, OH) The capital murder trial of a Fremont man now is rescheduled for just after Labor Day. 

A Sandusky County judge this week delayed the death penalty trial against 48-year old Daniel Myers. He’s accused of beating and shooting to death 28-year old Heather Bogle, who was found stuffed in the trunk of her car at a Clyde apartment complex. 

The pair were co-workers at the Whirlpool factory there. 

Myers is facing aggravated murder, robbery, kidnapping and tampering with evidence charges. There’s also a a June 18th hearing on death penalty motions in the case.
