The WalletHub survey ranks Perrysburg first among 185 communities as the best place in the state to raise a family.
The personal finance website rated the Wood County suburb number one in the education, health and safety category, second in family life and fun, fourth in affordability and 12th in socioeconomic rank. That will give Perrysburg residents plenty of reason to celebrate at its upcoming Winterfest weekend.
Among other Northwest Ohio communities, Sylvania came in at number 13 in the WalletHub survey, while Maumee ranked 25th, Tiffin at 49, Findlay at 52, and Bowling Green came in at 63rd.
