(Toledo, OH) North Toledo soon may be home to a "food truck park."
A Toledo land owner is hoping the plan commission will agree to rezone a half-acre site along Summit Street to commercial use, which would clear the way for a new, permanent lunchtime option.
The site sits between downtown Toledo and the I-280 bridge. The idea is to have a daily rotation of two or three local food trucks and the site would operate from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. as a "food truck park."
The landowner would provide tables, chairs, and port-a-potties so diners can come to the site each day for lunch.
