COLUMBUS, Ohio - Ohio Secretary of State Jon Husted has released a pair of videos to help educate voters on the two issues that will be on the statewide ballot in November.
“An informed and educated electorate is vital to self-government,” Secretary Husted said. “It’s important to remember that there are no ‘off-year’ elections. Ohio voters will have a pair of important statewide issues – and countless local issues – before them in November.”
State Issue 1 would replace and expand the rights for crime victims current in the Ohio Constitution. Issue 2 would require state agencies to not pay more for prescription drugs than the federal Department of Veterans Affairs and require state payment of attorney fees and expenses to specific individuals for defense of the law.
