City Council to Decide Fate of Drug Clinic

(Toledo, OH) Toledo City Council will get the final say on a controversial drug rehab clinic.

The Toledo plan commission approved the outpatient drug treatment clinic near the corner of Reynolds and Hill, but city council's own planning and zoning committee last week recommended disapproval of a special-use permit for the proposed medical facility.

New Season of Ohio plans to lease a commercial building for a methadone treatment clinic. The Florida-based parent company operates 70 drug treatment clinics across the country in 18 states and is the second largest provider of opioid addition treatment in the country.
