Police Chief: Officer-Involved Shooting Justified

(Toledo, OH) A Toledo cop and his partner are on paid administrative leave following an officer-involved shooting on Labor Day.

That's standard practice as the investigation continues, but Police Chief George Kral says early indications are the shooting is justified.

Officer Jonathan Curtis was responding to a domestic violence call in West Toledo, when police say 44-year-old Shane Marsh charged at him with a knife. Curtis fired one shot, killing Marsh.
