Car Which Struck Pedestrians in Virginia Protests had Lucas County Plates

UPDATE: The owner of the vehicle has been identified, and a man with that name is in custody. UPDATED STORY HERE.

There may be a Northwest Ohio tie to the drive who plowed into pedestrians during a white supremacy rally in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Pictures and video of the vehicle which hit multiple people and slammed into the back of another vehicle revealed an Ohio license plate, GVF 1111. Other pictures revealed that the plates had a Lucas County sticker in the corner.

After hitting multiple people and another vehicle, the car backed up down the alley and drove off, despite massive damage to the front of the vehicle.

It is as of yet unclear if the driver has been apprehended.
