Person of Interest Arrested In Shooting Of Fulton County Deputy

TOLEDO, Ohio - Police have arrested a man they believe is responsible in the shooting of a Fulton County Sheriff's Deputy. 

WTOL 11 reports Toledo Police arrested 18-year-old Jeshua Gilmore Tuesday on Upton Avenue. He was wanted for the Monday shooting of Deputy Jeremy Simon. 

Authorities say Gilmore shot the deputy during a chase late last night in Lyons. The sheriff's office reports Gilmore had been driving a car stolen in Toledo at the time. The deputy suffered non-life threatening injuries and is currently recovering from his injuries.
