COLUMBUS, Ohio - Secretary of State Jon Husted has officially removed James Hartley from the Lucas County Board of Elections.
WTOL 11 reports that in an open letter, Husted said that Hartley used the Board of Elections to "advance pretty self-interests or exercise personal vendettas."
Hartley was suspended from the board last month for refusing to comply with a records request from Husted's office.
